Dear Friends,
Earlier this month, we hosted our 9th annual Hop On Brew Tour, raising over $40,000! This event allows donors to enjoy Fort Wayne's breweries while supporting our riders.
One memorable conversation was with a guest who shared how CTN helped his mom transition from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility. Our team ensured she was safely transported and comfortable until her family arrived.
Often, we think nonprofits help only those in dire need, but it could be any of us. The CTN Team, including our board and donors, work daily to ensure CTN is always here.
As 2024 ends, I invite you to make a meaningful final gift. Thanks to a generous $5,000 matching gift from Christen Souers, your contribution will have twice the impact—together, we can provide even more rides to those who need them most! Next month we're proudly continuing our tradition of offering free transportation in December—but we can't do it without your help. Your generosity brings joy and connection to those who rely on CTN. Let's make this season brighter, together!
Gratefully, Justin |

For Catherine Walker, transportation used to be a source of stress. That all changed in 2017 when a friend introduced her to CTN’s services. Since then, CTN has become an integral part of her routine, providing the reliable transportation she needs to navigate her daily life.
“CTN has made transportation so much less stressful,” Catherine shares. “I can depend on them to always be there to pick me up and take me home when I’ve asked them to. It’s made my life so much easier.” This consistency and dependability are what Catherine values most. CTN’s services have allowed her to move through her days with confidence, knowing her transportation needs are met with care and reliability. |

Her feedback is part of a client satisfaction survey, helping us ensure that the services we provide continue to meet the needs of those who depend on them. Her story is a reminder of the impact that dependable transportation can have on reducing stress and improving quality of life. |

John Gonser and John DeRose, whom we often refer to as “The Johns” share what it’s like to drive for CTN. They are both retirees who work for us part-time and love the impact they are able to make. |

In Brightpoint’s Head Start classrooms, providing enriching experiences for children is a cornerstone of their early learning mission. However, when Brightpoint discontinued door-to-door pick-up and drop-off services years ago, the ability to offer field trips—a vital part of experiential learning—was at risk. That’s where CTN stepped in.
Through a partnership, Brightpoint leased three buses to CTN at a minimal cost, creating a mutual agreement that ensures transportation for Head Start students to attend field trips. This collaboration has been instrumental in maintaining these opportunities for children.
“Children’s growth as early learners is directly influenced by the experiences they have,” a Brightpoint representative explains. “Field trips add an element of learning and discovery that wouldn’t otherwise be available to them.”
From visiting pumpkin farms and apple orchards to enjoying the Embassy’s Festival of Trees or a trip to the zoo, these outings provide children from low-income families with experiences that broaden their horizons. Without CTN’s support, these meaningful trips simply wouldn’t be possible, and the children’s exposure would be limited to walking-distance outings.
CTN’s partnership not only supports the children but also reinforces Brightpoint’s commitment to creating equitable opportunities for every family. Together, they are helping to provide memorable experiences that shape these young learners’ futures. |
